The page detailing where we intend the fundraising to go to.
1) PARTY FOR THE PODIUM CORPORATE EVENTS:
The Party for the Podium format is being utilised to enhance scheduled PA's from Athletes. These events therefore will fund the work undertaken by PFTP staff, freeing up more money for the athletes and fundraising causes from any public events.
Each host of the Party for the Podium format, has total control over where they wish these proceeds to go towards.
The Athletes attending each event will receive a fee to go towards funding their sporting progress. Any event fundraising will see 50% go to the sporting good cause chosen by the hosts of each party and 50% as further funding for the attending athletes. All event materials will detail that cause.

Party for the Podium will always receive a fee, and this is based on the standard events industry rates, and this will ALWAYS be less than that received by the athletes. All event budgets are agreed with the event hosts prior to the event being announced.
2) BIG WEEKENDS:
The aim of the Big Weekends are primarily to increase awareness and support for the nation's Elite Athletes. It has the equally important aim of helping generate along with Team SME and Party for the Podium Events; a £20,000 profit by the end of March 2012.
Party for the Podium has a default good cause, and that is the work of the athlete representative body that enable all of the attending athletes to focus on delivering their optimum sporting endeavours for the nation.
3) FINANCIALS:
Party for the Podium, Big Weekends and Team SME are updated versions of the original Elite Athletes Affinity Club for full details click here .
As stakeholders have been made aware, as with all start up projects, there are costs that need to be recouped before a profit can be made.In the first 24 Months, ending January 2011, the research, development of the Affinity and Elite Athlete Supporters Club cost £10,119.
No salary was drawn, all stakeholders are aware that this situation needs to change and also retrospectively backdated, these funds to be solely drawn from corporate events, and not any public events. The concentration from the Event Industry on placing the format into corporate events, will enable public events to be undertaken without charging a fee.
As with EVERY business / fundraising venture in the UK, once expenditure is met, we get into profit mode. All profits will be then donated to the chosen good causes for their distribution into the programmes that support the nation's elite athletes.
Accounts
Every quarter commencing 31st January these will be published and forwarded to interested parties, we will also place them on the website (if we can work out how!)
