The rapid compilation of Experiences and Visits to help bring you into the world of an elite athlete, quickly demonstrated two things, firstly that there is a great willingness to help from amongst Agents and Athletes and that there is a great humility from those involved to confidently assume that their daily routine would hold much excitement. Yet the fact that the Party for the Podium auctions give sports fans the opportunity to enter the world of an elite athlete does excite and the difficult task enhanced by tight deadlines for athletes and myself, has been to come up with the Experience…so we had an idea!

So settle down, settle down, and welcome, welcome to a sporting “Pod’ll Fix It” where we are floating the opportunity to deliver your DREAM SPORTING / TRAINING SESSION WITH: OLYMPIC / PARALYMPIC ATHLETE OF YOUR CHOICE.

THE PRIZE:

You TELL us! This is your opportunity for you to dream a little and show your creative side. It’s like Jim’ll Fix It, simply tell us the Sporting Experience you wish to deliver and pledge the amount you are willing to pay, and we will see if we can make it happen. If you don’t ask, you don’t get, please though keep it clean! Please no money yet, we just want pledges to take forward.

THE ATHLETES:

We are fortunate that the Party for the Podium format has received support from many Agencies and Individual athletes, too numerous to list. They are all happy to help in some way, we are just unsure as to how, hence this unusual request.

Take the 24 Olympic Sports (taking out Football and Tennis) and 12 Paralympic Sports, and if there is an athlete or an experience you wish to do then why not ask if it can happen and we will endeavour to make it so. This is a unique way to interact with the nation’s elite athletes, and, more importantly fund the core services that support them through the Elite Athletes Supporters Club which aims to raise £50,000 by the end of 2011.

So whether it is, Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Diving, Gymnastics, Handball, Judo, Rowing, Sailing, Triathlon, Wrestling etc etc, whether its established gold medallists or potential gold medallists, if you have a sporting dream share it with us and e-mail david@partyforthepodium.com and we will see if we can make it happen.
